The TA 110 is a stationary unit for monitoring the quality of Al Si melts by means of thermal analysis. Modification, grain-refinement and all thermal data relevant to crystalline structure are determined automatically in a very short period of time.
Thermal analysis is
an excellent way of rapidly checking the structure during the cooling of aluminium
melts.
After all, this is what determines the mechanical characteristics of
the alloy which are of decisive importance for the quality of the casting.
„Modular“ Version:
(network system)
Thermal-Analysis system for connection to up to 99 sample-measurement points, consisting of a mini computer with thermal-analysis program, integrated alloy-selection switch and crucible connection. For both versions, a main data-collection computer (server) is required to receive the data.
„High-End“ Version:
Thermal-Analysis system for connection to a computer, consisting of a mini computer with thermal-analysis program, integrated alloy-selection switch and crucible connection.
„S“ Scientific Software:
For advanced evaluation, a scientific software package is available for the „modular“ and „high-end“ versions. Temperature-controlled (300-800°C) recording of curves; zoom freely available, can be opened after four pages; zoomed section of curve printable; reference line movable by mouse.
The thermal-analysis system also permits the use of the density balance for the analysis of vacuum density samples. With the „modular“ and „high-end“ versions it is also possible to include a spectrometer to record spectrographic-analysis measurements.
If these devices are not integrated in the set-up, the corresponding parts of the program are not available.
