The ALSP Highline mobile test unit is used to determine the quality of the melt based on the measurement of the density index, and the thermal analysis with regard to grain refinement (GF) and modification (M).

Information on individual processes:


The ALSP Highline which has the added advantage of a crucible pre-heating chamber, is designed to maximize the convenience of the user. The balance is mounted on a raised vibration-proof steel plate. A fold-out cooling-water vessel for the density samples and a special shelf for the pouring ladle permit an extremely efficient work-flow. The stand for the Thermal Analysis fixed to the sturdy aluminium working surface. The unit's sub-frame also has two large storage compartments, one of which has a locking door. The smooth-running and heat-proof wheels make the ALSP highline a flexible and versatile aid at the casting station or furnace.
