Vacuum Density Tester 3VT plus
Are you interested in a technical consultancy
and a demonstration at your location?
We look forward to your inquiry!
The stationary tabletop device 3VT plus is used for casting two samples for density-comparison purposes. One of the samples is cast at a defined vacuum of 80 mbar and the other at atmosphere pressure.
The tabletop device 3VT plus includes a crucible pre-heating chamber which allows the user to cast the samples under conditions which are constant:
- The sample crucibles are always heated to 200 °C, which prevents the accumulation of humidity in the crucible coating, which could have a negative effect on the sample.
- The pre-heated crucible allows the atomically dissolved hydrogen in the melt to develop its full pore potential.
The melt samples are then weighed and the density index is calculated by using the Density Index Balance MK 3000.
Special features:
- Long lifespan due to the design which reflects the special requirements of the foundry
- User-friendly design
- Process reliability through fully electronic control:
- - fully automatic control of vacuum to 80 mbar
- leakage indicator
- cycle counter - Fewer incorrect readings and greater accuracy of measurement through use of crucible pre-heating chamber
- Capable of 100% calibration
- CE conformity
- Tested to DGUV standard
Previous models to 3VT plus:
3VT, H, HE und HED
